The touch screen needs to be reset, as the display is effed up. The five buttons on the bottom are now in the middle of the screen and I can barely use the functions. Any ideas? Hope the GM customer service sees this. If it was an iPhone, I would turn it off and turn it on. Not sure on the car...it has persisted for a week.
I'd take it by the dealership so that they can trouble shoot it. If it's lasted for a week it sounds like a issue deeper than a reset would take care of.

Is there a reset I'm not aware of? Would like to try before taking it in.
Have you tried swiping the row of favorites down? Favorites can be expanded or "unexpanded" by swiping the top of the favorites bar up or down. Got to get just the right part of the top of the bar, press and drag down.

I'm betting that this is exactly what's going on. It's not a malfunction. Try John's suggestion and your screen will likely go back to normal.

I just went through this and the above is correct. I might add that I tried swiping with my finger numerous times without success and then used a stylus I had for a iPad and that worked like a charm.
