So, does anyone know how much average gas mileage is potentially affected by the various driving modes (eco, tour, sport, track, weather etc?)

I have never cared enough to try to compare the modes but I would expect Eco mode would offer the only significant difference. But if I compared Tour with Sport, I would probably find somewhat worse MPG in Sport due to the spirited driving I would probably be doing. My overall average reported by the DIC is 23.7 with my best run at 30.3. My best run was not in Eco mode which I almost never use. Z51 M7.

I bought mine last last week and drove 200 miles home. In sport and track mode I was only avg around 21 mpg. I got 14 z51 7 speed

Maybe the car is like wine. Gets better with age. Lol

Don't really care what track mode mileage is. As with any new car, mpg will improve to a consistent number after a couple thousand miles. I am getting low twenties in sport mode. My best was interstate on a trip thru Nebraska, 33 mpg in tour mode in 7th gear. Tried eco once and it was okay but I could feel engine lug on every little hill or slope.

I don't think much at all difference, all else being equal. - but when you put it in sport or track you tend to drive more aggressively so you decrease the mpg....I just messed with all the modes for 50 miles at a time on a 3000 mile trip and did not see much diff up in the interstate.....

Obviously, if you are really worried about gas mileage, you bought the wrong car... However, on my last trip to Abilene, in 6th gear, Sport mode, and cruise control, I got 32.9 MPG. It gets over 30 if you are anywhere near the speed limit. The 100 MPH runs do reduce it by a couple of MPG.

Never even put it in 7th because I wanted to leave it on cruise control without having to downshift on hills..It never even slowed down.

I didn't see where the Eco mode was any better than Tour for gas mileage. It did not seem as perky in Eco mode. I drive in Tour most of the time and in Sport for fun at least once a week.
