Which Black?

New VY Z51 coupe. Body painted roof. Black wheels. Yellow calipers.

Going to add hood stinger stripe and 3M vinyl wrap on roof and on chrome parts of grill.

Carbon flash, gloss black or flat black?

Carbon Flash Metallic to match the other portions (vents, lower rear fascia, etc.).

Is the hood stinger option painted carbon flash or is it decal?

Both. It is vinyl that has been painted with the same carbon flash paint and clear coat that is on the rest of of the car.

But still looks like vinyl, dont let the gm propaganda machine think you are getting it to look like the rest of the hood...

Thanks. So if you order the Carbon Flash mirrors and rear spoiler option, those components are painted Carbon Flash like the lower rear fascia and other trim, but the Stinger hood is a vinyl decal painted Carbon Flash?

I actually think it looks great. I have the Carbon Flash hood stinger on my '15 and would order it again in a heartbeat.

Never said it does not look ok, its just not the clear coat of the hood that gm says is the exterior coat. Its the same gloss as the stnger vinyls sold by the vendors here. I would never order it from gm.
Ive had it side by side and there is no diff at 1/3 the price.
