Rejex is good stuff, but now they make same type product that is far easier to buff off. Blackfire wet diamond is one....adams machine sealant is another.

It took me 10 years of messing around with cars to realize that the secret is in the polish, not in the wax or sealent (the last step product).

Been detailing my own cars since I first owned one 35 years ago. I've tried just about every product out there. Rejex is the best product I have ever used. Super high shine with little effort and slick as butter.

Good "wax" but a few things I don't like about it.
1. they say to keep the car out of the sun for 14 hours after application
2. if you don't use the bottle up is a short period (in a year or so) it gets thick and gets harder to apply evenly. (It sometimes gets white dots in it that are hard to remove.)

That said, I still use it for wheels but use Zaino on paint and glass

Very good product. Have used it for years. It's a paint sealant, not a wax. Easy on, easy off with a PC orbital. Hard surface, very good shine, easy to clean bugs off. Gets better as more coats are applied over time. Lasts longer than anything I've used. I use it on the whole car except for tires.

I loved it until I had a problem with water spots. Bugs wipe off easily but my rejex protected hood was hit with some hard water and the rejex didn't repel it. Pain in the ***. Used DUCKY cleaner to remove them.
I now use it only on the front bumper.

I've used it on the plane to reduce exhaust residue on the underbelly and personally was not impressed as to durability or shine. Never put it on any of the cars as so many better products that are much easier to remove and give a better shine.

Water spots are easily removed with isopropyl alcohol.

Some, not all.......... vinegar works better with mineral based water spots.

Rejex has an intesesting history. Fundamentally invented for the military for keeping jet turbine fan blades clean from bugs by a guy named EB Kollin, they found out it had gloss properties too. It essentally is one of the first polymers. Nu- finish sold at the grocery store is its consumer volume counterpart, they are essentally the same. Side by side tests prove that.

A few years later the guys at optimum (dr G) refined polymers into a type that required no buffing called WOWA products-- "wipe on walk away". Blackfire crystal seal and opti seal are a few , along with the zaino z-cs. They are slightly less durable but since they are so simple to use vs the buff products, they are easier for the weekend detailer.

I used Rejex on my black C6 vert for most of the time I owned it. Easy application and removal with a great shine. One per year I would clay and Polish before applying the Rejex.

I have not used Rejex on my C7. I have Blackfire products but have not applied yet.

I read somewhere [so it must be true], that Wolfgang products were relabeled Menzerna products with an extra middleman price included. Maybe Glen knows the story on this.

I like the Menzerna Power Lock Paint Sealant. Still not cheap at $27 for 12 oz.

Been using Rejex for years on all my vettes...easy to apply and good sealant for those of us in "bug country". I use a spray detailer on top of it to enhance shine and always get compliments (and trophies)...
