Never dawned on me to inspect the trunk in my vert. I may be a bit slow but just discovered the little storage compartment on the left. What a handy place to store towels, oil and a bottle of touchup spray.

I store my 4 jacking pads (if ever needed for a flat, dealer service etc,). Just bought some black wheel weights to put there when poster said his dealer used silver ones on his black wheels, my wheel lock key, some rags etc. Use and old padded carera case to put some of the items in to stop rattles.

My C6 had one on each side. I knew the new one had a hatch, but actually didn't look in it and have had the car couple months now. I was looking for something in the car I actually forget what, and I opened the little rear storage hatch and found my trickle charger brand new in the box LOL. I was going to nip the dealer a bit that it was missing when I take it in for the winter storage oil change in a week or so.
Moral of the story: If you bought the battery protection and can't find the charger, look at the very bottom of the storage hatch; you may find it there all nicely wrapped in bubble wrap.
