Default 2015 NAV problem numbers?

Just curious about how many of us are having the NAV issues as discussed in another thread here. The service reps I've spoken to keep telling me I am the first person they've heard of with this problem. So, I am curious as to how many people with 2015s are having the same issue - leave a post or pm me and I will try to keep a running tally. Also might be interesting to leave trim level and last 4 digits of VIN.

Mine - #3644 3LT Z51

Bill

*** So so far there are four of us, VIN #s 1295-3644 ***

I'm pretty sure it's happening across the board. The service adviser at the dealership I went to had mentioned that I was the first one, but when I talked to the corvette mechanic, he said he'd done several of them so far.

Just curious, what do you hope to achieve with this data gathering?

If you have the PDR, you probably have the problem. Trim level makes no difference (except that the PDR is standard on 3LT).

Just interested because the three customer service reps I've spoken to at GM tell me they've never heard of this issue. Service manager at Rick Hendrick City Chevrolet in Charlotte has never heard of this problem. Neither the manager at the museum where I did the delivery, or the person that walked me through the delivery claim to have ever heard of this issue. GM has not issued a TSB yet, despite acknowledging to a few other members here there is a fix. I would just like to know how widespread this problem is. I am not interested in letting some service guy experiment on my car without something official from the tech people at GM.

I had this issue and had it fixed at Rydell Chevy in Northridge CA. They were aware of the problem and I know they fixed one the day before they fixed mine.

Since I have a 2LT with the NAV/PDR option and it is yet to be built, I would hope any data gathering by anyone anywhere on the topic will somehow find its way to a corrective action on the production floor.

I'm pretty sure they're well aware of the issue.

Who is? Of the 6 people who should be "in the know" regarding this NAV problem, ZERO have admitted to ever hearing about it. This is what is so frustrating. It doesn't seem to be an isolated problem to me, but nobody I have been able to reach at GM seems to know about it...

GM definitely knows that the issue is and they have been communicating the fix to dealers. There have been plenty of threads about this. My dealer knew about it, and I have no idea why they aren't communicating it to customers directly, but that's neither here nor there, so long as they fix it.

So...what are the odds they are fixing the problem in the plant now, or are they still building them with the problem?

I had mine in the shop today for this symptom. They removed the rear view mirror and the shield cover in front of it. Supposedly the fix is to shield a wire. It took a couple hours by the time they called to confirm the fix with TAC. It appears to have fixed my issue of the 'red x' on the right side of the screen. I took delivery of my car 2 weeks ago.
