Default New Vette

I just sold my C5 vert and I'm thinking of buying an new C7 . In the back of my mind I also ponder selling my '66 vert , maybe thats because I just spent a few days tracking down a faulty stop/turn light problem ! Anyway, I read a few posts here on Corvette Forum about supporting Dealers and some seem to have good deals . I don't know a lot about Credit Union discounts etc and wonder if anyone here has gotten them ? I live in CA and all the deals seem to be back east . Anyone out west get a good deal ?
Looking for another vert in NRB , zf1 , 2lt just in case anyone knows of one !

I just sold my '98 and I have a 2015 on order, scheduled for production the week of Dec. 8. GM employee, Credit Union, and Military discount are all possible, but it depends on the dealer as to whether or not they are accepted. There is also a smaller USAA discount if you are a member. Quite a few local dealers here will accept these discounts, but I here that in California the dealers are not that accommodating. You will just have to contact a dealer to find out if they accept any discounts.

Tim Boone at Boardwalk Chevy in Redwood City, CA, is a forum dealer, and accepts the normal discounts.

Check out his inventory in the C7 dealer inventory forum.

I had a C5 vert Navy Blue Metallic before also.

Just bought 2014 C7 vert in Night Blue / Kalahari, 2LT, Z51.
Awesome car.
Got supplier pricing, almost $7000 off.
Go for it...

I am from Los Angeles area but I am getting one from Tim Boone out of Boardwalk Chevrolet. I was going to order one from Mac Mulkin out of New Hampshire but I found out that Boardwalk Chevrolet have one in transit that I like, matching the one that I was going to order. I picked the coupe with Z51, 3LT, Torch Red with Adrenalin Red interior, competition sports bucket seats, and so forth.

Tim Boone honored the GM Credit Union Discount Pricing plus USAA rebate. It's a very big discount! There are some inbound right now that should be arriving 1st or 2nd week of December including the one that I am getting. This is my very 1st corvette and I am very excited. He's got a few in stock that are available right now.

I called many dealers and he is the only one that accepted GM discount pricing. Give it a try.

I'm on the opposite coast but do some research on the credit unions.
I joined one very easily and am getting a tad over 10% once I order.
Good luck in your search.

Good for you!!!! I tried twice with Tim on CU discount and was told not until after the first of the year. Guess things changed earlier.

Credit union discount recently got us about 9.3% off our '15 Z51 3LT 7M Laguna Blue coupe, helluva deal IMO.

Here are a couple of things that could help:

To find the fair price, you can go to www.mygmdiscount.com and build it out like you would on the Chevrolet site. There is little doubt that you can qualify for a credit union discount.

To actually get that discount is not always as easy. As mentioned before, not all dealers will honor it. If one does, make sure he has an allocation so you actually can get the car. If your favorite local dealer falls short, there are several "forum dealers" who sell a lot of Corvettes. It doesn't really matter if they are not local, they are very familiar with doing courtesy deliveries where they sell the car and ship the car to your local dealer for actual delivery.

Good luck, great choice of color and I'm sure you will love it.

On the credit union discount.

Do you have to finance thru the credit union, or just be a member of a credit union?

How about being a CU member and paying cash for the car?

Please advise....thanks in advance for any reply.

I was told that just membership was required. We financed a portion of ours and will pay it off early without any penalty.

I joined the CU and also paid cash from a East Coast Dealer with courtesy delivery to Ca. but only got about a 6% discount.
