Is 1st gear useable??
Assuming no traction control, 70+ degrees temp., and M7 tranny, and not dumping the clutch.
Is 1st gear useable with full throttle?
Having had a c6 Z06, while fast, was no fun until mid-second gear because of wheel spin, which equals no fun and a waste of money in rubber.
Also having a C5 Z06, with good tires was fun because it would hook and go assuming you didn't dump the clutch in 1st gear, making it feel very fast and controlled.
Where does the C7 M7 stand on this?
I love HP as much as the next guy, but I much prefer USEABLE HP and not wasted HP due to wheel spin.

no it's not usable it'll rip the tires in 1st with Z51 gearing.
My thoughts are likely with a non-run flat it'll hook. I had the same problem with my C6 when stock. It wouldn't hook with the run flats but throw on some performance non-run flat tires and she hooked real well
