Default Steering wheel control issues

Just curious if anyone else has had issues with the steering wheel mounted controls (DIC, cruise, volume, favorites) with their car right out of the box? Shortly after taking delivery of mine (later that night or the next night), I noticed that the two buttons (fav up and down) on my steering wheel do not illuminate like all the rest. Now that I have some favorites setup in my radio, the top most favorite button works if you hold it for a while / press very firmly; however, the lower button does nothing. Even the top fav button doesn't work anywhere near as nicely as the volume buttons on the other side (which are of the same construction / action).

In any case, I'm assuming that they will have to pull my wheel apart (great fun). Anyone else get stuck with silly things like this on their wheel?

Luckily I can live without a working favorites button for pretty much an infinite amount of time. The issue is living with something that's "broken" on my car!

Both sides of the wheel have all the buttons in two modules that pop out in 30 secs once the horn pad is removed, easy stuff....prob a connector there.

I can see how the issue would be frustrating, but easily solved by the dealership.

Thanks guys - that's what I like to hear (about it not being a super invasive job).

I just took delivery on the 20th. Day one, the volume and favs on the steering wheel worked perfect. Day two, they did not work. Didn't respond at all. Turned the car off, let it sit 10 minutes and when I came back and restarted, they worked. No problems since then. Anyone else's ever quit working? Any ideas?

My C7 radio controls on steering wheel are a mess. The volume buttons changes the audio mode and increases volume at the same time. The decrease volume button increases volume. The fav bottom increases volume. I am still on warrantee. Brought the car to dealer. They worked on it and could not come up with a fix. Replacing enough parts will fix anything. Any similar stories?

I just purchased my 2014 Stingray last August and started having the intermittent radio and bluetooth steering wheel control function problem recently. I thought it might be a connector problem because it seemed to act up more when I used the telescopic function. So I had the dealer check it out and it turned out there were two codes in the steering column. They did a software reset and couldn't duplicate the problem and so far everything is good.
