Default Nav Fixed

My Nav unit wasn't working from courtesy delivery on Nov 10. Last Wednesday I called GM customer service and they set up an appointment with a local dealer for Friday. I took it in and it is fixed.
The invoice sheet says the tech contacted TAC (?) and they emailed tech instructions with a repair procedure.
I don't know what exactly they did, but the GPS is working now.

GPS wire in the mirror was un-crimped and insulated.

That would be my guess.

The PDR causes interference with the GPS so like eboggs_jkvl mentioned, they just shield the wires with a particular kind of tape and you're good to go. There's going to be an update to have the PDR disabled during normal driving so other cars don't experience the issue. You can do a simple search on the forum for a lot more details.

I thought the GPS in PDR cars was higher resolution to assist in data recording?
