I've been using the Chevrolet order tracking site (www.chevrolet.com/order-tracking.html) to get a general feel of the status of my order but tonight it looks like they shut it down. It's not redirecting just to the main page of chevrolet.com.
I wonder if this is permanent or if they're just doing some sort of maintenance.

The order tracking has been deleted from chev.com as far as I can tell. Suggest you try Chat Now and ask whoever responds what the status of your order is. Thats what I'm going to do tomorrow a.m. per their instruction last week. Good luck!
I just finished a 'Click to Chat' discussion and was advised "The tracking website was giving off wrong order information. It was taken down to be worked on."
I was also given my order status, and further advised there's no ETA on when the order tracker site might be restored.
Your dealer can pull up your status with a few keystrokes. He can then either print out the full OrderWORKBENCH document, or save it as PDF file and email it to you. A good dealer will have no problem with this. After all, you are spending close to 70k on a Chevy, they can at least keep you informed. My last two vettes, the dealer sent me a weekly email as well as a copy of the OrderWORKBENCH anytime the status changed.
If your dealer is unwilling to do this (and that should tell you something,) you can go to this thread
Give them your order number and the state of the dealer. In a day or two, they will get back with your status. Please follow the guidelines in the first post of that page and don't request more than 1 update per week and give them a couple days to respond.
Just my $0.02 worth, but the GM tracking site is pretty basic and about worthless. They do have pretty pictures, though.
