Default Was dead set on the Shark Gray until...

I went to the dealer and saw an ordered/sold Z51 in Night Race Blue.

WOW, what a classy, incognito color!!!!

My eyes then went back to the Shark Gray that was a few rows away and I thought, very plain and boring.

Night Race Blue it is, so glad I saw in person before hand.

NRB is a stock color so no extra cost!

I love my NRB...it draws attention because of the continual color hue changes with light conditions. From the inside, you will be fascinated every day by to blue sparkle on the rearview mirrors as you drive in the sunlight. Additionally, it glistens right through the dust from a days driving.

You will be very happy with NRB.

Love NRB!!! My Stingray is Shark Grey but I am hoping they keep NRB long enough so I can get it on the Z06

NRB is a beautiful color BUT if you only saw shark gray indoors and not in the sunlight than I don't think you had a fair comparison. The shark color really looks very different under different lighting. Truly a sick color.

I did. Both cars were outside. It's a sunny day here.

The reason i originally wanted the Shark Gray was because I saw it inside under the lights and it had the contrast carbon flash mirrors and spoiler.

But looking at both outside in the sun, the NRB just shouts CLASSY, while turning back to the Shark Gray, my eyes were saying too light of a Gray. I'm more of a charcoal/Cyber gray guy.

Oh ok cool, yea as most things it's a personal preference. I did the same thing but decided the look of shark gray just seemed much tougher to me with the carbon flash packages and black rims. ENJOY YOUR c7!!

Same here. I wanted to like it but just could not accept the fact that 75% of the time it is cloudy here. So I guess the 2016 Z51 will be Crystal Red or maybe another color will come up by then!

Perfect way to pick a color In and out.
Can't understand how people order interior and exterior colors by the website or indoors only.
Did you see the PURPLE in nite race? My eballs seen it that is why off my list.

I did see the slight purplish haze in certain angles and I am not a fan of purple, but honestly it is very slight and it isn't an overpowering purple like you see come out in the Lemans Blue, now that I couldn't deal with.

The overall classy, darker, more upscale, mature look of the NRB for me overpowers that slight purplish hazy hue. I took pictures of it too and can see it come out in the pictures, but again, to me it is very slight.

If only they had an "Eleanor" charcoal gray, I would be all over that!!!

So, NRB w/ Kalahari 2LT will be my order.

I got a nice discount quote from MacMulkin and plan on putting a deposit in the next couple days, now if only I could score Employee pricing, that would put the icing on the cake.

In the mean time, I need to put my C5 Z06 up for sale.

You sir are so right, color is very subjective. Either way the C7 in any color is just an amazing performance car.

I was and still am amazed at how NRB hides dirt. I expected a lot more maintenance keeping this color clean.

NRB has green and purple flake, which can cause a purple cast but I never really saw a green shad pop out at and angle. I guess the purple is enough to cast on the blue but the green cannot overcome the overall dark blue base.

An interesting color for sure!

For me, the shark gray will win because of its subtlety as I love it combined with the AR interior for a pop of color. The NRB requires Kalahari to my eye. But to each their own. Isn't it great they make so many choices? Not really.. I've changed my mind 4 times now as I have seen different combinations. This one is it! I think.....
