Default Assembly Line

Can someone tell me how long it takes to assemble the C7 once it starts down the line until a finished vehicle rolls off? I'm not including the time it takes to manufacture components like the frame, but merely assembly. Probably someone who has recently visited Bowling Green would have the answer to my question.

That happened to mine last year. Started on the line 12/20/13 came off the line 1/6/14. It told me they had a heck of a New Years Eve party at the plant.

1.5 days from the point the body is married to the chassis to roll off.

3.5 days from when the body enters paint to roll off.

Paint shop works two shifts for every final assembly shift.

Did the owners build tour earlier this year.
Started on Thursday just after noon hour. Frame with dash pod came down to the assembly floor, (included the rear cargo tub, painted frame and glued on door sills). We left the factory for the day around 4PM.
No more to see as the body was heading back up to the upper level (buffer area of sorts). We did get to walk over and see the serial number laser etched into the block and a little of the engine accessories being installed.
Came back early the next morning (about 6:45 though the Plant had started before that), body still up top and they were mating the engine to the front & rear suspension sub assemblies.
Body came down, fuel tank(s) installed, drop shortly there after.
Car was on the alignment rack at 12:38.
So almost 11 hours (after alignment car runs on floor dyno and then gets leak tested.)

If everything on the line goes as it should, it takes right at 12 hours from the time that the frame with the dash, floor components, and rear tub comes down from the upper level to being the assembly process from that point on. This is the portion of the build process that the buyer's tour consists of. Each station along the line has 3 minutes to complete their step as the car moves along the assembly line. The total time for the entire build process is reported to be approximately 31 hours.

Another point of information...

The line shuts down for a 20 minute morning break, 30 minutes for lunch, and another 20 minute afternoon break. When they are running 10 hour shifts, the line shuts down for another 10 minutes in the afternoon.
