SD card not recognized
Just tried inserting an sd card into my pdr system and it is still saying there is no sd card inserted.
Does anyone have any insight into how can I can resolve this? I have a sandisk 8GB SDHC card.
Thanks,

Thanks,
Make sure you insert card in the glovebox slot, NOT the center console.

That was it, thanks! Just got the car, probably should have read the manuals. Guess I'm going to have to research what the other SD slot and usb slots are for. Pretty cool video.

I have a 32GB card in the console slot - works fine. I don't have an SD slot in the glovebox. Must be a 2015 thing??

PDR's are only on the 2015 LT2 & 3

Close. It's an option on the 2015 1LT and 2LT and standard on the 2015 3LT.

PDRs are part of the 2015 navigation system. The navigation system is optional with
1LT and
2LT , standard on
3LT .
There is no such thing as a "2015 LT2 or3"!

Amazing, because I just spent 83k for a 2015 vert with an A8 tranny and a red adrenaline 3LT interior.

Exactly. It's a 3LT. It's not an LT3.

LT1 and LT4 are engines. 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT are interior trim and option levels.

Those are for connecting and charging smart phones, tablets, and media.
I have a 16GB "Thumb drive" that is so tiny it needs a string lanyard to remove it. I have 25 or 30 CD's ripped into MP3 format, plus 5 or 6 audio books (anywhere from 5 to 12 CD's each) all on that tiny drive. I like it because of the very limited space in the center console. You could use that SD slot for that purpose just as well.
If you use the USB behind the NAV screen with you smart phone, your phone directory can be accessed with the Infotainment system. If your phone book has addresses, you can select them as destinations with the NAV.

Mine also didn't work but it could be because I got a 64 Gig card? Why is that a problem I'll never know... Do 64 Gig cards work?

They do, but you will need to format it in FAT32 using a 3rd party utility in Windows. The built in utility in Windows won't do this.
Do quick searches here and you will find probably at least 10 different threads on this...
One member got a 256Gb card working...

Ok... Then be creative and research it yourself.
You need to format the SD card in FAT32 for it to be recognized. And you're welcome.
