Default Interesting remote information

When a distance from your vehicle and you press your remote to unlock
or locate your vehicle and it does not work because you are to far, try this . Place the remote under your chin and press button . You get a lot more range ! It works !

All car remotes have been this way since back in the 90's. Old trick but a trick that works.

I found this handy little video that helps explain how and why you can extend your fob's range

As that YouTube video proves, if you keep doing this it will cause you to lose your hair and have bad effects on your teeth.

One of the few useful posts lately. This is an old trick, but it works. I have used it many times with many different vehicle remotes. It will substantially increase the effective range of a remote. By exactly how much? I have never gotten out my tapemeasure to get exact numbers, but I would estimate from experience somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 to 50 percent increase in range.
