1. Also the material protects the paint from chips & dings......
2. Waaaaaaaay cheaper and can always be taken off & replaced!

My friend owns a body shop. I can ship him the mirrors and he'll paint them for free. Cost me 20-30 bucks. So thanks for the concern but just need instructions on how to get the panel and the mirrors off.
