Default Gorilla Guard Locking Lug Nuts?????

Has anyone tried these and have an opinion of them? I have a set on the way and was wondering if anyone else has tried them yet? I believe these are the 61631's

Thanx Jazz, but I think those are different. Same manufacturer, but design is different. Look closely at the pic I posted.

The set that has a lug replacement for all 20 lugs may slow a thief down some or stop some, but just replacing one per wheel will not stop a pro or even good amateur thief. I had some on one of my cars a few years ago and the Discount tire guys got it off in seconds without the key (I couldn't find the key...). Taught me to not trust any anti-thief lugs further than I could throw them... But YMMV.

Any lock is better than no lock and I think these 20 locks are the most effective.

Default More Info....

I didn't know if these were new or had been around awhile and was just wanting to inform and/or generate some chatter and get some feedback from those that have them.

I bought 5 sets or 20 lugs. I'm kind of a symmetrical freak and a bit OCD so I thought that they should all look alike and also eliminate any weight imbalance issue. (which is probably a moot point anyway).

So Here's another pic...........

Thanks. I'm also the symmetrical type (will be ordering 20). Any suggestions on where to order them? Torque to 80 lb/ft?

You have definitely taken this to an extreme to protect your wheels. You realize that each set of locks has it's own individual key. I think that will eventually drive you crazy.

I thought of that too, but note the photo above of the 20 lock set. Unless I'm seeing things incorrectly, it looks like one key for the whole set.

You are correct with the set you bought but I was referring to "Horsefly" who bought a different set that comes with one key and 4 locks. He bought 5 sets (to get 20 locks) and that has 5 different keys.

I also like the 20 lug set. I actually ordered the black chrome set, as I have black rims and did not like the contrast of chrome lugs on black wheels. Looks much better as well as providing the protection.Part # 71633NBC

Is there any chance you can post a picture of your black wheels and lugs? Black wheels here too and I may do the same thing.

How many different keys are available? A thief would just need to have one of each to defeat the "system".

Car is still so new I haven't taken any pics yet. I will try to get a pic of the wheel with lugs tonight (depending on whether I get home from work before dark).

20 pc Black that fit everyone's c7 wheel. I've used 3 sets of these, work fine:

Woodson,

The keys are like a "spline socket" to fit the spline on the lock. Theoretically there could be an infinite number of configurations. Not sure how many variations Gorilla actually makes but I'm sure it's a bunch.
.
Photo just for example:

Good question. I'll call Gorilla and find out, and post their answer when I find out.
