Does cylinder deactivation occur with a manual trans.in the C7?

And it works great too. While I was cruising down the interstate at 75 mph it was getting 30-35 mpg on the straightaways. You feel just a slight nudge when it shifts out of or into the V-8 mode.

I got 32.9 MPG in 6th gear using 8 cylinder mode... no reason to mess with 4 cylinder mode. (shudder.)
