Anyone experience this phenomena at all? My DIC/ main screen in the car will be dim for awhile and then after driving 5-10 mins it finally kicks the brightness up and becomes more vibrant. I drive home from work after 5 and this always seems to be the time it occurs. Is there a switch somewhere that can be adjusted to make the brightness more vivid? I tried the switch above the HUD next to the steering wheel but it was already maxed out. My guess is it might have something to do with the headlamps being on or off?

I believe that little sensor on the top of your dashboard is playing a role. As the sun sets, the dash lights will go from dim to bright and back again as the sensor's software is trying to "figure out" how bright to set the dash. You should not see this in full bright/full dark conditions.
I noticed the same thing yesterday. One hour before sunset on a sunny day. I also noticed that the headlight indicator was on. I moved the headlight switch out of "auto" and back. Headlights went out and dash became full bright. Looks like a glitch in the auto headlight system.
