Frankly, I love it but as noted, it depends on color. Mine is AW and the contrast is awesome.

I am ordering mine with body colored mirrors but will change the spoiler out for a black one in time. When I bought my 02 Mustang all I read online at the time was how cheap Ford was for putting black mirrors on cars instead of body color. Can't win I guess!

BTW, does anyone actually have a good comparison photo between the two badges? Yesterday I was thinking of starting a thread to discuss the "cheaper options" which are the ones I can't seem to make my mind up about. (Door Sills, emblems and whatnot)

The carbon flash mirrors and spoiler look great in person and nothing like a standard gloss or plain plastic. I personally think the reflective flakes make the paint look of higher quality than the rest of the body panels.

I ordered my Velocity Yellow convertible with the carbon flash stinger stripe,mirrors,and spoiler. I was not disappointed. Carbon badges were not available when I ordered my car or I would have gotten them also. I also got the black wheels with yellow calipers. I was able to get a great look with my car. Sadly,I was only able to drive it 150 miles before it was retired for the winter. I look forward to April 1st.

It's the carbon fiber exposed roof with all the carbon bits (mirrors, spoiler, badges). I love the contrast of it. Helps pop out the colors more.

Thanks everybody! Clearly its a split decision which means it will look good anyway I choose. Right now I'm leaning towards the black badges and blue spoiler and mirrors.

Once I saw the option I had to have it with the carbon emblems, and I love it, I'll be blacking out the strip aswell next days off, nice to be able to get a lot of options like blacking certain things out, saves having to paint things if you want a certain look like I did with my cts v

It was a tough decision for me on the black. Had I gotten the Laguna blue, I might have gone color matched everything and silver wheels. However my wife REALLLYYY wanted black wheels, and if that was the case, I figured I go w black contrast.
We ended up with red (like my last vette.. shocker) and for that color, I think the carbon flash is a must. Unfortunately We didn't do ZF1 package, so I got the spoiler CF and I will have to get the mirrors painted. I think it will look great though.
