Had a chance to drive one today and I was blown away( no pun intended LOL), I have also driven a '15 8 speed auto and I must say ( I own a C6Z) I'm very impressed with the C7 and seriously may trade up to the Calloway as I can't afford a new Z ( selling at $126k here in NV)

I drive a Callaway sc627 and could not be happier. Go for it!!
I would love to meet someone who has drove both a 2015 Z06 and a 2014 Callaway and hear their oponions on both animals. What was your first impression when you took off in the Callaway?

One of our customers has both a 2014 Callaway SC627 and also a 2015 Z06. He prefers the delivery of power from our Callaway SC627, and feels the power delivery is much more instant. In fact, he said, the Callaway feels like it could (or does) lift the front end as it takes off. The Z06, while very fast, just doesn't pack the same punch.
This customer has many powerful cars, including some which are at or near an advertised 1,000 horsepower level. The Callaway SC627 is his go-to car, which says a lot
Thank you to the original poster, who must've visited us at the Callaway Open House at Findlay Chevrolet in Las Vegas yesterday. Much appreciated!
For any follow-up questions, please give our Specialist, D.J., a call.

Chris,
Are the Callaway Corvette conversions certified to be compliant with California emission requirements? Does Callaway have authorized dealerships in Texas? I could not find a dealership list on the Callaway website.

That has been one of my questions for some time. Thank you for that answer Chris. I have heard great things about both cars but never a comparison. Very very interesting and of course awsome to hear.

Great questions, thank you - Our SC627 Package is complaint in all 50 Sates and carries a CARB EO for use in the Golden State
We do have dealers in Texas, but purposely removed the listing from our website, as we'd like our customers to first contact us vs. perhaps the receptionist or an automated system looping you to eternity. We'd like to ensure your purchasing experience is the absolute best. Thank you again

Who actually does the Callaway conversion work on a customer car? Is it done at the selected authorized dealer site or is the car shipped by the dealer to Callaway for the conversion and then shipped back to the dealer?

Callaway Corvettes and SportTrucks are built exclusively at our facilities in Old Lyme, CT and Santa Ana, CA. There are no dealer conversions, as we build our vehicles to an exacting standard, and backed by the most powerful Powertrain Warranty in the business, which is the only one that supplements the GM Factory Warranty.
We ship vehicles back and forth however, the majority are drop-shipped right from GM Assembly Plants to our shops, then shipped to the dealers.
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
