The control you see in front of the lighter is the controller for an STiR radar detector.

Just got mine after seeing it on the OP.

It is perfect for mounting on the pop up outlet cover as shown. Might be a tight fit for a new iPhone 6, a 6+ will not fit in this one but there are others like this on Amazon that would work.

Think it will hold the Samsung S5 in an Otter box?

The standard Airframe holds phones up to 3" wide. The Airframe+ holds phones up to 3.4" wide (that includes the iPhone 6+ and the Samsung Note 4).

I was reading where there are knock off products out there. The Airframe+ you got off of ebay for $17 is not the Kenu brand. I was reading where the Kenu brand is more sturdier than the knock off ones. They are in the $25 range.

Looks like a much better way to carry my phone than letting it slam around in the cup holder. I just ordered one too.

It is and I have one that has been working great but never though to locate it in the accessory port. Will try this new idea in the morning. Thanks!

Does this clip on the cover for the pop up outlet? Does it leave any marks on the top of the cover when you take it off?

Could someone take a picture from the side so we can see how it attaches to the cover?
