I took Museum Delivery 12/23/14. They did a great job. VIP tour of the assembly plant, just me, my wife, and a guide. VIP tour of the Museum, same 3 of us. You get VIP badges to keep, your car has a sign with your name on it you can keep, they make pictures of you with the car, and applaud you when you drive out. They spend as much time with you as you want while teaching you about the car's features. You can have your "window sticker" laminated, buy and laminate your build sheet, and laminate your sign. Oh, and at the assembly plant they have your name flash by on a large electronic sign just outside the door of the plant.
So, you ordered the car already. Are you saying you want to add Museum Delivery? I'm pretty sure the only way to do that would be to cancel your order, and re-order.
"How It All Starts: NCM Delivery is referred to as OPTION "R8C" and is available through any Chevrolet Dealer at a cost of $990.00. It must be specified at the time the order is finalized and a special Ship Code of "184590" must also be used to identify your Corvette for Museum Delivery."

I ordered my Laguna Blue 3LT Z51 Convertible M7 on 12/18/14 from MIke Furman at Criswell. I chose to do Museum Delivery mainly so I could do the factory tour and experience the whole delivery process. This is my first Corvette so I wanted to make the experience memorable.
I'm curious about the build sheet. I've seen photos of new C7s being delivered to the dealerships and noticed what looked to be build sheets on the seats or floor boards. Why would I have to buy my build sheet? It should come free with the car. I've seen where the Museum sells build sheets for any car, but why would they prevent a buyer taking delivery of a new car at the museum from getting the original build sheet that comes from the factory?
When I ordered my 2008 Pontiac G8 GT, I got to see it at the dealership the morning after it came off the transporter. I got to open it with the dealer sales rep and immediately found the build sheet on the rear floorboard, along with a lot of other soft trim broadcast sheets, and miscellaneous tags. I kept it all and will request the same on my museum delivery. But when I bought my 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP from a dealer in TX and had it shipped to me, I didn't get anything but the window sticker because the dealer's PDI crew had thrown all the other documentation away.
Yeah, pretty sure that you need to specify where the car is delivered on the order. Museum as indicated above, but if you want the car delivered to the dealer or to a courtesy delivery dealer, that has to be specified and has to be determined at the time the order is picked up (accepted) by GM. At least that is what MacMulkin has told me and I have no reason to believe that they are mistaken after they have sold more than 900 vettes last year alone.
Yeah. Museum delivery and factory tour if you live within a couple hundred miles of BG. I decided against it ONLY because I live on the west coast and the drive home would put too many punishing miles on it.
