Car is missing something in dash (possibly broken into?)
Was at the gym earlier today and a little after I got in my car I noticed something was up. I looked at my dash and i’m missing something that should be where the 3 holes are in the pic. I looked around my car incase it had fallen off for some reason but I couldn’t find it.
I looked at my car, no signs of damage or anything but is this how people take off/steal the monitor of a c7 from removing the piece where the 3 holes should be? My car was also locked so I have no clue...

I thought you were asking what was supposed to go there.
It probably just fell off and rolled under the seat or something, unlikely someone managed to get into your locked car without any other signs / damage, i also don't believe thats where you take the dash apart...and there's no pry marks from a sloppy thief. I'm betting it fell off, maybe it got kicked out of the car already or caught on a key chain.

If your car was locked and someone tried to break in the alarm would have sounded and you would have gotten a "theft attempted" message when you started the car. Also, since there are no pry marks, It most likely fell off and hopefully is under your seats.

Those don't just fall off...they clip into the dash, so someone had to either hook something on it or pull it out. Strange!

That assumes that it was not broken from the factory. Maybe the guy clipping it one broke most of the clips but said F' it and kept going. Same way my spoiler was just held on with the 3M tape from the factory as they forgot to actual bolt it down.
