Is there a certain day/days of the week? I'm on at least my 7th week of 1100. Base painted roof constraint is holding my order up. My dealer (a good friend) only has one allocation as well. I thought as time went on I'd mellow about the wait but it's been the opposite.
Some great threads dealing with this and more aspects of the entire ordering process. Search for "Order Process" to get some good ones. Here is a cut and paste from one such thread that speaks to your question.
It is my understanding that allocations are issued twice per month on Thursdays. Dealer have until Sunday after the Thursday to submit the order, and GM accepts the order by Tuesday of the next week.
Next rotation in January appears to be Jan 8th and 22nd. I am not 100% sure but this is my understanding on how the process works.
You can also check out the Sticky Thread on Order Constraints for more info on the ordering process. Lots of good info. Good luck with your order.

Reason: Added note about Sticky Thread

Our Moderators really need to put up a sticky that will give new buyers a better insight and understanding - not just of constraints and the list of order codes - but about the whole ordering process.
In the meantime, for the OP: Educate yourself on the order process as soon as you can. Key words to know - inside and out - are: order status codes, allocations, constraints, consensus periods, priority codes and maybe a few more. Then start digging: find out about all the above relative to your "friend" the dealer, his allocations and your own order. Remember: you are your own best advocate!

I appreciate your response.
The dealer is actually a very very good friend. She does not do the ordering, her new car manager does. He has already told me that they have an allocation for 1 C7. They have only had one and sold it. Her dealership serves mainly ranchers so they have pretty much any Chevy truck you could imagine.
When I placed my order the new car manager told me right from the start the painted roof constraint would cause a delay. I did not and will not change that.
I was just wondering when the workbench orders were picked up. Daily, weekly, ect.

I have educated myself on the codes and have a pretty decent understanding of the constraint restrictions pertaining to dealerships. The fact that my friend only has 1 allocation could be (probably is) hurting my chances of getting picked up.
I won't change dealerships. Like I said she is a very good friend and we (family) have purchased every vehicle we own from her. She is not just a business friend.

Once an order gets picked up the event code typically jumps from 1100 to 2000 sometime between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning.
So you are saying that by Thursday all orders for the week have been taken? I'm trying to get clarification of the actual days of the week workbench orders are processed.

Just keep in mind that your loyalty toward your friend could prevent you from ever getting your car.

I'm saying that allocations are released on Thursdays. Dealers have until Tuesday to match orders against allocations. Event codes for affected orders change from 1100 to 2000 during the night between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
If your dealer only has 1 allocation, you most likely will not get your car. When they get their allocation from GM, they will know which, if any, of the constrained items will be allowed on it. If they don't place an order against that allocation, they lose it (it goes to another dealer).

The order was put in for the allocation and the constraint did come up. I don't see how it would be different with any other dealer with an allocation and a constrained option.

A dealer that gets more than just one allocation has a better chance of being able to order a car with an option that's on constraint, provided that the item isn't on 0% constraint. They might get, for example, three cars, only one of which can be built with the painted roof. In your case, it is an absolute fact that your odds of actually getting your car are significantly reduced by the fact that you're with a dealer that has only a single allocation.
This is a confusing topic for many. (At present time) Every 2 weeks, on Thursday, is when a dealer receives allocation and constraint notice from Chevrolet. The dealer has until the weeks end to "push" an order through for Chevrolet to accept the order.
The dealer manually selects which order is "pushed" to Chevrolet for production. If the dealer is fair he will go in chronological order.
In the constraints notice Chevrolet states what options are constrained, how many orders nationwide may be submitted with the constrained options, and how many orders the specific dealer may submit with the constrained options.
If there is a constrained option (like the transparent roof panel, or Z07 package) there is a very good chance your dealer will not be able to submit an order with the constrained options. Why some dealers receive allocation on a constrained option when most don't? I don't know.
The base Corvette is now on the traditional allocation method. Meaning if your dealer performs better than the national average in Corvette sales, they will get more and more Corvette allocations. If your dealer does less than the national average in Corvette sales then they will get less and less Corvette allocation. There is no way of knowing exactly how many Corvettes your dealer will get this year, next year, the year after under this allocation method.
The Z06 is on the allocation method the C7 Corvette started with in its inaugural year. Every dealer with get X amount of Corvette Z06's for model year 2015. Will this change for 2016? I don't know, it might, it might not.
Anything can change at anytime with Chevrolet and the way it allocates dealers.

Thank you for this post. Answered a lot of questions.
My order at a dealer where my son is a member of management went no where after a 16 week wait, 1100 the whole time..... 8 weeks into that order I placed a order with a Forum dealer... 7 weeks later the car was built.... Picked it up at the Museum on Jan 8th
The first order was dropped at the 16 week mark....

Damn Ive been trying to get an allocation for about a month. Had a few dealers who of course told me over the phone they could get me a Z06. Gave them my build sheet order and they came back and want to sell me something in inventory LOL. Go figure. Probably have to wait for a few months and see if any allocations open up.
