I like it. A nice take on the Z06 badging. Are the Z51 characters on a clear background, or black background? Does the background match the carbon flash?

They are stand alone lettering. Has no background so the carbon flash is not covered.

Call Mike at http://thepowdercoater.com/

Absolutely amazing work and customer service. I pulled them off, sent them to him, then reinstalled when coated. He takes them apart and coats them.

So, 3 separate letters? Was alignment an issue?

No, they weren't separate letters, they were all on a piece of backing with a clear plastic coating over them. Peel off the backing, place label where you want it, press to adhere letters, and remove clear plastic. No issues, just use alcohol to prep surface and both sides came out perfect, IMHO!!

Those are very nice. Way better than some of the other options I've seen.

I added these too, but I tilted them so that they are more parallel to the ground like the stingrays on the sides.

Here is the thread that started all of this:

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...1-emblems.html

Post #39 is Sean's which states the following:

"The decals are $15 a pair and $1 shipping.

You can email me at azbowtie@***.net or sean@vettefx to order until I get them on the website.

Or you can just PayPal direct to azbowtie@***.net and put in the comments section what it is for until I get them on the website.

Thanks all!

Sean"
