Why does he have to use the search function? Maybe he wants his own thread. Thats not a requirement, i get so sick of hearing that.

I have Weapon X and I really like them a lot. The installation was a piece of cake and I think it's pretty simple on all skirts. Ben from Weapon X is really easy to work with and is a forum vendor so you can easily message him on here for more info.

These photos aren't the best but you get the idea.

I like the RPIs. It looks like you went with the Carbon Flash. How well does in match the other CF pieces? Are you glad that you went with the CF over the matte finish? It seems that the matte would hold up better... Do you have any problems clipping your foot on it when entering or exiting the car? Car looks great. Thanks!

First time that I saw the Weapon X. They seem to make the hips look even wider, which looks great... Is it just the angle of the photos, or does it looks like that in person as well? It looks like a gloss finish... Is in painted CF or OEM? Nice car

Thanks. They definitely make the back look wider in person and that's one of the main reasons I went with them. They are painted carbon flash and match the finish of the vents and bumper etc. It's just kind of hard to tell on the NRB in photos.

Yes, I went with carbon flash and it matches perfectly as far as my eye can tell. I went with that over the matte finish because I didn't want it to look unmatched. I think the matte finish some get and the carbon fiber finish looks odd against the rest of the car that has carbon flash trim elsewhere. I have hit my foot on them a couple times getting out, but I am lowered all the way on stock bolts so it isn't easy getting out as I've gotten older ! I'm only 35 but 25 was easier getting in and out for sure.

I went with ACS Zero 7 skirts. I got them from RPI. I like the way they go in, where you get in/out of the car. Less chance of hitting them. I got their satin black to match the plastic flares on the wheel wells. The front of the skirt is right next to the flare, in the front. I also figured they would be easy to repaint when they get scratched.

I try to use the search function but always get a flood of posts that are irrelevant, or seem to be at least. I don't have time or patience to search through dozens of posts looking throughout them for a piece of information that another owner knows of the top of his head. Years ago I actually got flamed by a moderator for asking a question about my C4 that I had already searched for without result. He told me I'd be banned from the forum if I kept it up. I got so pissed I actually didn't post or read the forum for several years. In fact, if it weren't for my interest and ownership of a C7 I still wouldn't be here. Can't we all play together nicely?

To be honest, if it weren't for the desire to gain so much knowledge about my C7 I'd completely stop logging in here. This C7 forum is downright absurd. You get bashed for almost anything....ask a question or show a mod and you get ten guys who have to tell you how much of an idiot you are for not knowing, how you should've searched first or how your mod looks ridiculous. I get so sick of it!

And like most keyboard warriors, not one of them would say it to you if they were standing next to you in person!

This is what forums are for. People say you're lazy if you don't search....well I say you're lazy if you don't just answer the question! I try to use the search feature first, but as previous poster said, you get a lot of irrelevant results....takes less time to post a new thread and get some answers!

Forum search functions suck and most people like showing off their cars by posting pictures.

One thing that is not lacking are the assortment of Side Skirts and Front Splitter available for the C7. Well after reading almost every post on the C7 Forum, I have decided to go with the RPI Design'sC7 Corvette Stingray Front Splitter - ZR7® Stage 2 with the splitter deflectors, the ZR7 Stage 2 Skirts in Carbon Flash Black and the Torch Red splash guards.

This was not an easy decision, and I have got to the point where I was overthinking this, so I just want to go simple and did not want a car that looked like a Hot Wheel, nothing wrong with that, if that's what you like. I chose RPI Design because I have dealt with them over the years, Don spent a good long time on the telephone with me explaining the different options, and I have never received a product that Josh and Don never stood by after the product was delivered. So next week, I will make the order, hope it arrives soon, and will post once all the parts are installed on the car. Thank you Don for you time and effort.

Just curious about which setup you think looks like a hot wheel. Anyway, to each their own, but I think the body color splash guards are going to look odd with all the other trim black.
