Awesome, hopefully nothing sets them back in the next few weeks.

My dealer told me the same 2/16 TPW, I had heard someone was told two different dates by Cust Serv and the dealer, not the case for me.

Same here. Dealer and customer service have same date, 02/16.

Soon enough, my only concern is that it is just after Valentines Day, wonder what that'll cost this year?

Sounds a lot like what I ordered (I posted my order earlier in thread)

I have also considered paint or vinyl for the body colored roof on my car as I could not justify the cost of the exposed carbon fiber version, but I love the look of the dark roof. Are you thinking on just having the local body shop paint yours?

Yep, I'm gonna take the top to a local body shop (find a good reputable one) and have them paint it. Works good since I will still have the car while they paint it since it's only the top. I don't think it will cost more than 200-300 bucks. I will probably get that little piece between the rear window and top painted too so it all matches to the black. I will have to see how it looks though.

I already have a good idea of what I will visually do to the car. I would touch the engine (tune, long tubes, and even a procharger) but I can't take the risk of losing powertrain warranty if something were to happen. It will be a gamble I'm not willing to take.

visually I'll be adding:

Stage 1 Z06 splitter (probably leave it unpainted so if it gets messed up, I'll get a new one)
Z06 grille
side skirts (haven't decided what yet)
paint roof carbon flash black
swap out few interior lights for led bulbs
carbon flash behind the hood vent thingy (I think they call it stinger vinyl)

That's about it. I will be very content after that. I don't think there is anything else I'd want to do which is cool because it won't break the bank either.

Sounds like a good plan on the paint. Much more cost effective for the same look. Do you have the paint code for carbon flash?

I also totally agree with your thoughts on the performance modifications. I would love to add a supercharger, but I value the warranty far too much as well!

I won't be doing any splitter or side skirt additions as I need every last millimeter of clearance due to where I live (but I really do like the look). The Z06 grill is a must in my opinion though. Mine should arrive this week.

Looking forward to seeing your creation along with the others. Hurry up and wait!

I don't have the CF color code yet. I will get it when the car comes in, and I'm ready to take it to a paint shop. It's probably only a Google search away.

I know what you mean about clearance. Hopefully I won't run into that issue. I had a lowered C5 Z06 and I scraped the front many times. This should ride slightly higher though, even with a splitter... we will see.

Default Shark Grey Z51 2LT

Just found out this morning build week 2/16, doing a Museum delivery, how long do they hold your car before MCM delivery, ordered ride control shocks this time, had a C6 Z51 hoping for a better ride on long distance cruise. Jack L.

I think you'll be pleased with the MRSC.

it's about 2 weeks for NCM delivery after car is produced.

Pretty much, it will go to event code 3400 , ready for production a couple of days before it hits the line. Then you get 3800, produced, get a vin and update your insurance.

I try to check often enough. I suppose we'll be at 3000 for at least another week so... I check like once a week. I leave the rest to surprise. if we're 2/16, I'd say earliest would be 2/12 probably

Yeah I'm hoping it's a week early as some others have been.

Just thought I would share... Customer service told me event status codes are updated on Tuesdays and Thursdays only. Checking on any other days is just pulling the dated info. from the earlier Tuesday or Thursday.

That or maybe they were just sick of hearing from me...
