Default Shark Gray

Is it just me or does the shark gray color change in the light? Sometimes I look at pictures and see shades of brown. Other times it looks like a traditional grey color.

It is the metallic paint. In mine, I can see tans and browns depending on the angle of the sun.

Very cool.

Based on sun and angle viewed, color changes to display some olive undertones or a more silvery gray color.

Thanks RazorPig. I'd have fun in the Vette if I ever can decide what to get on my Shark Gray. Can't decide on 8 speed or manual. Can't decide on Carbon Flash Mirrors and Badging or none. Can't decide to keep the car in Maryland or store it in Arizona. Decisions...

Oh yeah, Go O's!!!

Yep, go O's! I want to get a ZO6 and I'm thinking about a Shark Gray, they look so nice, but I love Torch Red (it's my second) and the new Orange is hot, so I'm a little conflicted. Back in the 80's my last car before my 1st Vette was a 360 Z and it was a metallic gray......so I've spec'd out the ZO with the Shark Gray and it does look nice......have you ordered yours?

All metallic paint colors take on different appearances in different lighting conditions. It's not unique to Shark Gray.
