Thanks Doug, I'm still amazed that it took 15 months, (or more) for somebody to come out with a FLAG holder for parade's. Just ordered a set for 'Elvira'!

Can the C6 convertible flags be adapted to work on the C7 convertible?

I emailed them last summer and they told me they were working on them and would let me know as soon as they were ready, and they just emailed me, which was nice.

I really don't know whether the C6 flags can be altered to fit a C7, sorry.

No. The C6 flags worked by having the screw go all the way through the roof top mounting hole on the windshield header. The C7 hole does not go all the way through.

Until I get the set I ordered (the guy also emailed me that they are available) I don't know how he is mounting these on the C7. Also interesting that he has two versions, one for coupes and one for convertibles.

The C6 mounting holes did not go all the way through unless you planned to go over 45 mph and drilled the hole in the trim. For low speeds, the flags fit tightly in the hole. C5 flags had the hole all the way through with a screw from the bottom that held them in place.

Well, I don't know what to say. I used the screw from the bottom on my C6. I did NOT drill the holes. I was the only owner (bought it new).

C6 won't work. Holes on the C7 are shaped differently and that was why there was a delay. I ordered mine a couple of days ago.

The C6 coupe has holes all the way through so maybe that's it.

I've used the same flags on my C5 coupe, C6 coupe, C3 coupe and C3 convertible.

They are not a forum vendor, so no link allowed. Just search flag caddie in Google.

I attempted to use the website to order a set, but it is messed up. If you order the ones for a coupe, it loads your basket with ones for the convertible. I sent him an email about it, but he hasn't responded. He is based in Illinois.

I ordered mine a yesterday and I just double checked my confirmation. The correct number is listed on my order. I also just went to the site and added a set for the Coupe to my cart and the correct number was listed in the cart.

It worked for me this time as well. I don't know if it was me earlier or the site.

Thanks
