Hi Forum, ? what determines your TPW? I'm seeing some folks who have gotten a TPW date before folks who have gotten to 2000 earlier than the person who just received a 2000 status. Ex:
2000 on 1/6/15 TPW on 2/2/15
2000 on 1/13/15 TPW on 1/26/15
I think a big determining factor would be the options selected. So they would move things around based on availability of materials/parts and overall efficiency of doing similar cars in bulk. I know when I was doing the plant tour there were large sections of cars all the same color together for example.

Ok makes sense to me, I'm going 2000 on Tuesday the 3rd, with a TPW for 2/23, so hopefully that's on schedule. Thanks!
That's exactly my point ATC, not sure how they determine who goes first, hopefully nothing changes, best of luck!
Thanks, good luck to you also. Maybe color, or non Z51/Z51/Z06 etc.
Mine is 2LT, Silver/red, ZF1, machined wheels , CF dash, PDR, NPP, red calipers, A8.
There are several factors, starting with does the dealer have the allocation for your car. The bigger the dealer the more allocations he has to offer. The smaller the dealer the less allocation they have, and how those allocation are spaced over the year. Then there are the items you want to add to your base model in stock, All these factors enter into how long it takes to get your corvette.

Both Bigbop53 and I have dealer allocations as we are at 3000.
The difference is that I went 2000 on 1/21 and he is going 2000 on 2/3, and we both have a TPW of 2/23. That's 2 weeks difference.

I think that's what the original question was.
Yup it was, ATC did you thinkof the carbon flash emblems, I'm thinking of adding them to my order don't really like the chrome emblems. Hopefully this wont hold the order up any longer than it's been.

I see, the answer here is B/G works on a two week cycle. They take enough orders to build for two weeks at a time. The assumes all the parts are in house. There is a lot more but for the sake of space I'll keep it simple. There were a lot of guys who had the same tpw as mine but arrived at 3400 & 3800 at different times during our tpw.

I did think of them, but (just my opinion of course) I like body color mirrors. spoiler and top and I think the chrome emblems look best with that style. With carbon flash mirrors and spoiler the carbon flash emblems look great. Or in your case, with black wheels and black looking top, I think they would look great!
All of that opinion is with Blade Silver , of course.

Who gave you that TPW? The constraint report for the Jan 29 consensus, which you would be a part of if you go to 2000 on Tuesday, lists a tentative TPW of 03/02.

Yes, I know it came from my dealer when they called me on Thursday to let me know that the order was placed. That's exactly why I asked this question. Was confused myself.
I wonder when I can start to believe in the TPW and plan a pick up in BG.
'they' say two weeks after TPW week . . . any thoughts from those who've survived the process?
First, the car will come off the line anywhere from Monday morning to Friday afternoon of your TPW, and occasional on the Friday before (my TPW was 01/26 and my car came off the line 01/23.) Within a couple days after your car comes of the line, one of the Museum staff will call and arrange a date for delivery. The earliest date is usually at least 2 weeks after build date, but they are willing to delay for a while to accommodate your schedule. My two deliveries were 23 and 28 days after build. The earliest day I was initially offered was two weeks after my TPW date, which was 3 days after build. I wouldn't plan anything for earlier than 3 weeks after your TPW date, based on my experience.
