Default Convertible trunk question

I was looking in the trunk for the switch that operates the trunk light & did not see it. Does anyone know where it is?

It should just come on when the lid is opened. Pry the fixture off and see if the bulb may be loose or missing. Also if you have the lid up for awhile it goes off to save the battery.

The courtesy light switch is located on the dash to the upper left of the steering wheel. There is no individual switch for any storage compartment lamps.

I think the OP is trying to figure out where the switch is that tells the lights to go on when the trunk is opened and to go off when it is closed.

On the C6 vert it was located in the weather strip channel on the bulkhead not the tail lamp side of the lid look around that area in the middle near the convertible top rearward edge in the channel.

Still not finding it. It must be built into the trunk opening actuator.
