Break in
Hi Tadge,
I just ordered a new C7 corvette 1lt. I have been reading a lot of posts re: breaking in the car. The answers are all over the place. What is the proper way to break in my new Corvette to get the maximum performance.

Any way you want or feel you need to..
It will not matter, these engines are ready to roll the second you sit in the seat. Think they offer a 100K warranty on the hopes "You break it in right". This isn't 1980 any more.
Others say.. "Well the drive train needs it too" Same answer as above 100K and not 1980....
So do as you like Redline it or baby it.. It's your car.

OP, you can do as you want, but I would just follow the recommended break in procedures outlined in the owner's manual.
