Default What size socket for lug nuts

Quick question, as I'm out of town and about to hit the local hardware store. What size socket is used on our C7's? I can't recall but believe it's 13/16. Can anyone confirm for me real quick what the correct size is?

TIA!

Officially 19mm but 3/4 will work.

0.7480 in. (pretty close to 3/4") = 19.0000mm

13/16" = 21 mm Too big, won't work.

Well, that gives you a pretty good choice, the only thing that they left out was a sledge hammer!

I bought a deep set 19mm NON-Marring socket at Harbor Freight last year. Haven't used it but it was inexpensive. FYI.

Get a disposable rubber glove, cut off the fingers and use them to line the socket to prevent marring of the lug nut. I say "fingers" because they have to be changed out for each wheel. Works great!

I ordered a 19 mm 6 sided socket from amazon to use.

All the local stores only carry 19 mm in 12 point sockets.

as the others have said.....19mm or 13/16" work.....but in both cases, always get and use a 6 point socket.....and a deep well.

A 3/4" socket fits my 2015 just a wee bit better than a 19mm socket.

3/4" = 19.05mm. It's so close I don't think it matters.

Confused info here.
19 mm or 3/4 both work on the original lugs. 13/16 or 21 mm work on some replacement lugs such as the Gorilla lock key lug.

13/16 is NOT the size for the OEM lug nuts.

Officially 19mm, per the manual, but 3/4 will work.

13/16" = 21 mm Too big, won't work.

Was using plastic sandwich bags but they wore after a couple of lugs. Bought this plastic insert 19 mm socket for the C6 black lugs, works perfect for the C7 powder coated black wheels. A little pricy.

Great tool. However Expensive.
