Default TPMS question

I am in the process of purchasing a second set of OEM rims and all season tires and I have a few questions about the process.

I went onto westcoastcorvettes website to look at the TPMS and the item says "does not include sensor nut". Do I need to purchase a sensor nut and if so, where can I get them?

Is there anything else, aside from center caps that I will need?

Also, do you guys have any suggestions for tires? I am keeping my OEM summer tires on my chrome rims so ideally I want to get all season tires on my machined aluminum rims.

Any advice is appreciated.

Suggest you check with your dealer. My dealer from Sandy OR seems to have a supply of base wheels and tires from owners who upgraded to aftermarket wheels, and I bought a full set with the summer tires already mounted/balanced for just a few dollars more than a replacement set of tires alone.

When winter came, I bought a set of winter tires from tire rack, so now I have a set of summer tires and rims, and winter tires and rims (which don't get much use) along with a spare set of replacement summer tires once I wear out the first set from the factory in another year or so.

Good luck!

Thanks Glen.

Found the sensor and nuts on Gene's website, I'll just buy them there. Anything else I will need?

I just bough the TPMS and nuts for $145 from Gene and got 4 brand new C7 Flag center caps on eBay for $100. Brushed aluminum rims with 1000 miles for $1500. Now I just need a tire recommendation.

Thanks Glen! This is good to get some clarification on. I have been doing searches off and on all day trying to find more info on the correct TPMS. The OEM part 13581560 is considerably more expensive. I found the part number you referenced on-line for way less. I feel confident in placing the order now.
