Yes I feel that it is too slippery also - tried a couple of things but have not found a solution yet

This thread has gone well.

Wrapping the wheel with baseball bat grip tape would add a distinctive touch of class to the whole interior.

The C7 wheel is more slippery than my C5 and C6 wheel. The C6 is the best of the bunch for grip with my hands, which tend to run dry. Putting on a little 'Working Hands' hand cream helps a little with the dryness and puts the grip back to something acceptable.

Looking ahead to Spring Mountain in April, I may experiment with some batting gloves but they really aren't a solution for everyday driving.

I'm considering ordering a sueded steering wheel after my trip to Ron Fellow's Spring Mountain Corvette Driving School. It would also match my alcantara seat inserts and sueded upper lining pretty good.

Factory suede Z06 wheel $415.00 at the dealership, if you're a Corvette club member.

Yes, I think it is a bit slick, but I figure it will get better with use.

I thought the C5 wheel was perfect, nice and beefy and a round cross-section that fit the hand. The C6 was thinner, with an oblong cross-section that never felt quite right.

I like the idea behind the C7 wheel bulges at 10 and 2, but I drive at 9 and 3, so they are in the wrong place for me.
