Very nice! What kind of heat resistant paint did you use?
Just regular Lacquer with a plastic adheasion promotor/ primer. Painted my covers Jet Stream Blue on my former 2008 and never had a paint vs heat problem with them in 6 years. Here is a pic after about 5 years.
Couldn't resist. I have a '14 AW Z51 M7 and in the process of having my fuel rail covers and plenum cover airbrushed by a local shop. Hope to have photos of the completed pieces soon. These are complete smoothies (Corvette lettering removed) and painted AW with a version of Showstoppers Stingray Z51 image (had to change it a little) and the plenum is Carbon Flash with somewhat of a ghosted C7 Flag image. I'm not into a lot of flash but, thought these pieces really help set off the engine compartment.
Nice job. Looks very professional, and I do like the original texture to the fuel rails.
Thanks, Yes I wanted to keep the texture as well, I first washed the panels in Dawn. Once dry I applied a thin coat of plastic adhesion promotor. Then a thin coat of white primer. Then about two coats of GM arctic white base coat. Once dry I applied two coats of clear after doing the Corvette lettering. The lettering was done with a felt tip paint pen. Before doing this I painted the silver aluminum fish carbon flash color to match the rest of them on the car. The Stingrays were only $9 for the pair on eBay from a China seller. I also put a few drops of crazy glue gel on the double sided tape on the fish just in case the Chinese sticky tape decided to let go in the heat.

Thanks for the reply this info helps. My project is soon to begin. I will also use the felt tip paint pen. Where did you find the paint pen? Order on-line?
