I have a new 2015 Stingray and when I got it there were a few issues.
One major one was the driver side speaker did not sound good at times or nothing will come out of it mainly during phone calls sometimes the radio.
So the dealer replaced this and put it on my carfax report.
I just want to know if getting parts replaced under warranty will affect my resale value in anyway.
I mainly want it off because I received the car from factory like this, but if it doesn't affect it, I will just let it go.
Every car is going to have minor warranty and recall issues, I wouldn't worry about it. As an owner, I'd rather know my car is perfect and get anything damaged or defective replaced. As a buyer, I'd like to see the owner take pride in the car and keep it in as good of condition as possible; I've never been concerned seeing things like this on a Carfax report.
When I see minor warranty repairs like this on a CarFax report, it adds credibility to the report and reassures me that the previous owner took care of the car. https://www.facebook.com/pages/C7-Co...2645030?ref=hl

As long as it does not have ACCIDENT or MAJOR ENGINE or BUY BACKS I would think little minor things showing up on a carfax report means NOTHING at all!
It doesn't matter if the items are on Carfax or not...the GMVIS system will have the history of all the dealer-performed repairs.
This info can be provided upon request to anyone that has the car's VIN.
but I agree minor items aren't an issue w/Carfax...
On a related note, a few years ago, I purchased an expensive, late model, premium sports car with a clean CarFax report. With the exception of a couple of innocuous service visits for electrical system checks, just normal maintenance items appeared on the report.
I spent the next 18 miserable months trying to track down and repair a series of major electrical gremlins so bad they rendered the car completely unreliable. I finally sold the car at a significant loss and was happy to be rid of it.
Moral of the story? Pay CLOSE attention to everything you see on that report. As for me, I will never buy another car that has ANYTHING on the report that needed to be addressed more than once.

As mentioned, maintenance history on a vehicle is a good thing as long as accidents aren't involved. I have a friend who has an '05 MB SL500 and the only thing he's done is changed the oil a couple of times. If I was looking to buy such a car and that's the only maintenance items, I'd pass on it for sure.
