Default Ron Fellows Driving School

As many of you know when you receive you C7 Corvette welcome package from GM, inside along with the book is a certificate that allows you to attend the 2 day Ron Fellows Driving school for a reduced price!
I attended the school this week and was joined by my 27 year old Grandson. I have to say aside from the great time we had spending some quality time together ( He lives in Colorado and I in Phoenix) We really enjoyed the School!
The staff was outstanding, the instructors were professional, positive, and some of the nicest young Men and Woman (1) I have met in a training type environment in my lifetime!
The driving portion of the school was not only informative, but has practical uses for everyday driving. You will find things out about the C7 that will make you safer on the road and make owning it more enjoyable! The resort is very nice and the food was very good!
I will say that the end of the day we were tired and ready for food and sleep!
My suggestion to you that read this " Go to the Ron Fellows Driving School"
Congratulations to Ron Fellows and his management team for developing such a professional driving school!

I was in same session as Bill and his grandson. I agree 100% on Bill's comments about the school.

PS. His grandson is a great guy who writes software that makes computers easier to use by the aged (not Bill!)

A fellow Corvetter and I attended in late October. My ONLY REGRET is that I didn't sign up for the optional THIRD DAY. I made the decision too late and all the condos were filled with people coming in for the next course. HUGE MISTAKE. You get lots of track time and I could have really used it to lock in the lessons I learned. ONE INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE.

$1000 for corvette owners. 60% discount. Real bucket list deal. Do yourself a favor and do all 3 days though. Unbelievable.

My apologies but is the $1000 before or after the 60% discount?

I should warn people that the 3 day classes are pretty much booked. When I called and reserved a spot a couple of weeks ago, there were a couple of spots open for August 31st and a handful for November 9th. Now the earliest is November 30th.

Default We attended the 2 day class

We attended the 2 day class and it is plenty of driving, but
wish we had attended the 3 day!

You can read all the articles but until you take this course you really have no idea just how great the C7 is or what the stock car is actually capable of. I took the 3 Day Level 1 course about two weeks ago. Phenomenal! The facility is First Class. The instructors are the best I've seen anywhere and the knowledge they passed on is literally THE BEST INVESTMENT YOU CAN MAKE IN YOUR CORVETTE.

I had my car for almost a year before taking the course and thought I knew the car pretty well. Boy was I wrong. The instructors gave me a whole new understanding of the car and of its' capabilities... Worth every bit of the cost.

I loved it so much I signed up for Level 2 plus another "3rd day" lapping session

The third day is a must. We were a full class of 20, but there were only 8 of us for the third day, which is mostly track time with passing. I felt bad for the folks who left at the end of the 2nd day, and they were told they could stay, because there openings, but I have to admit that it was really nice only having the 8 cars on the track.

I am interested in attending the Ron Fellows Driving School. Seems like most everyone finds it to be a great experience. I do have a question, however. Seems like they have a shortage of room accommodations and will not allow participants to stay overnight on the final day of class. This is less than ideal from my perspective. It would be nice to kick back and relax; get a good nights sleep and then depart the next morning.

Since this is not possible, my question for those of you who have attended this course is where did you stay on the night of the final day of class? Did you find comfortable accommodations nearby or did you have to drive into Vegas for the night?
