At one time, I read on one of the threads about a pouch or cover to protect the C7 coupe's top from damage when it is stored in the car. I've searched and can't find anything. Can anyone help me with the vendor info? Thanks.
IF the top has been on the car when it's been driven it will likely be dusty. Putting dusty top into any kind of "pouch" will likely cause scratches in the top. Just put the top in as is - avoid more damage by doing that.

Corvette Central has them and they are a forum vendor.

Spot on. Besides the cover was not designed to bag up the top while its in the trunk. It was designed to protect 1 of your 2 roofs when you bought the dual roof option and leave one roof at home.
I've got one, ordered it from the dealer I bought the car from. Looks pretty good, although not terribly well padded, so I'd still handle it with care.

The top pouches I have had have been kind of a PITA to use. They are not the easiest things to get the top into due to the size (unless you have a helper) and it is just easier to put the top in the back without the pouch.

You'd really only want the pouch if you had the dual roof option. I'm not sure how you would actually get the top in the back of the car if it was in the pouch, because the roof is a pretty snug fit as it is, and the pouch is appreciably larger than the roof panel. But if you've got dual roofs, you don't want the second roof in the back as (a) you'd never have any storage space, and (b) you'd never be able to drive it with the roof off.
I have all 3 tops and 2 of the pouches. They are a GM accessory and available through any of the GM parts sources. I use them for external storage of the tops that are not being currently used and they work well. They are not useful for in-car storage. They are good quality and have the C7 flags embroidered on. The lining is very soft and if you put the top in clean it is well protected. They have handles so you can hang them from a hook.

This is probably what you are looking for.
Any tips on putting the top in the bag by yourself? I'm having a time even with a helper
Over time I've used three different approaches
1) lay the cover open on the ground in front of you taking care to use a towel underneath to protect from scratches and dirt - my garage floor has been epoxy sealed and is clean so I just lay it on the garage floor. Stand next to the pouch next to the opening and place the top across the flap opening of the pouch, leaning it against my legs. Lean over the top and gently pull the cover up and around the lower edge, working it back and forth until it's covered using similar motion to pulling a pillow case over a pillow.
2) lay the top on a flat soft surface (a table over a towel, pad, etc) with exterior surface down. Again, like a pillow case, gradually pull the case over one edge and work it side to side over the entire top.
3) put the top in the holder in the back of the car. While lifting the closest edge to you slightly off the car, gradually slip the pouch over the edge closest to you working it back and forth, again, like a pillow case, until fully covered.
IF the top has been on the car when it's been driven it will likely be dusty. Putting dusty top into any kind of "pouch" will likely cause scratches in the top. Just put the top in as is - avoid more damage by doing that.
We had a top pouch for our C5, to protect the transparent top when stored in the trunk with luggage. That was three Corvettes ago, and we haven't bought one since.
There's the dust-scratching problem, the PITA to get the top into problem, some of them are for garage storage only and won't allow you to clip the top into the trunk.
Instead, we bought one of those soft fabric rear bumper guards that you flip out over the back to protect the deck & bumper when loading/unloading luggage. In addition to its stated purpose, we can flip it forward over the luggage to keep the luggage from scratching the underside of the top. If you have luggage zippers or hardware that might cause damage, throw a towel over them before flipping the bumper protector forward.
Some of the bumper protectors are vinyl or plastic, they develop rigor mortis in cold weather, so we avoid those.
Putting the top in the rather loose GM bag by oneself is not that hard if you have an adequately sized piece of clean carpet to lay the roof on, top-side up. Then simply lift the bottom edge (back of the top), slip on the bag, work it in as far as possible with the front of the roof still on the protective carpeting. Then, lift the front of the roof and finish slipping it in the bag. Viola!
