Default Ordered my 2015 today

Today I turned over the keys to my 2012 Grand Sport

And order our new car, a 2015 convertible

Now the big wait begins but the dealer has promised to keep me updated with the order number and status updates along the way. This isn't the first time we have waited for an order. We ordered a new 2010 Camaro SS when they first became available in Nov and it arrived in July the next year. That was a long wait!

Anyway, it is in Night Race Blue, Kalahari top and interior, body colored Z-51 style spoiler with silver full length stripes and has the 18/19 inch silver wheels. It's equipped with the 8 speed, performance exhaust and performance data recorder.

Very excited in New Mexico,
-Bob George

That's going to look really classy. I do not like verts but your color choices are spot on. Congrats and good luck with the wait! I'm in month #3 waiting for mine. TPW 3-2-15

That was a great looking GS you had, but you'll enjoy the heck out of the C7. Congrats.

Been following this Bob. I hope you get to status 2000 quickly and get your car in the typical 6-8 weeks. Congrats on the upgrade.

It is going to be a beauty, nothing like a Vert, hope the wait is not too long.

Well, my order went in the system on 20 Feb and I just found out we are sitting at 2000 today so I am very happy!

Does this mean 6-8 weeks from here?

Thanks,
-Bob George

I am at 18 weeks so far. I had issues getting past the Z51 constraint.
Good Luck.

I too traded a C6 coupe for a C7 convertible and have never looked back. Just push that little button and in just seconds you are enjoying a true open topped roadster (and a beautiful one at that).

Believe me, you made the right decision....

Good luck Bob. Hope your dealer can get the allocation as discussed in the other thread. I like the way you've spec'd the new Vette - good looking car.

Default At 2000

I thought making it to 2000 meant the dealer had an authorization. I thought we'd be stuck at 1100 if they didn't?

It was either going to be night race blue or daytona orange. I liked them both about the same. The wife liked the night race blue better

Congratulations, a really nice combination.
Living in the southwest, you will get to enjoy that Stingray with the top down a lot.
