Default Removing Center Caps

Awhile back there was a forum thread that described a fast easy way to pull the center caps off the wheels. I've been looking around and can't find that old thread. Anyone have a link by any chance?

I used duct tape in the same manner. A lot cheaper and I already had some in the shop. I did not use pliers, but one key is a quick jerk versus a slow pulling motion.

I used my laminated driver's license and pried the center caps off. No fuss, no muss.

Default Center caps

Don't try it if your caps have the center plastic flag!!!!! Very thin screwdriver at the edge, gently pry and it is off.

Did it last week-very simple. Just be careful and use a small jewelry flathead screwdriver.

Agree, you could damage the plastic flag piece. I used my smallest screwdriver blade wrapped in electrical tape to open a small gap. Then a larger taped screwdriver blade in the gap with a twist.

Cheap paring knife works fantastic! It has a thin, short, tapered, flexible blade with a rounded tip.
