Don't let the guys with high MPG's fool you. Those numbers are misleading as evidenced by VETJAZZ dashboard snapshop. Having a 45 mile per hour average speed is very indicative of a lot of highway driving and NOT indicative of real world driving. Sure I could say my car gets great mileage too if I spent my life on the highway and show you a dash picture showing 26 mpg. Drive your car around in the city for a while and see what your car gets then. Than post those numbers, you won't be bragging so much then.
Check out my dash and tell me it is bogus. I really don't care when I am driving around town my car is in Sport mode. I don't drive it for millage. On a trip where I am driving hundreds of miles in economy mode is what I find as amazing. Nobody is insulting your ride or making claims that could be repeated by anyone.
"Doesn't mean a thing". Your kidding right? You think 28 miles per gallon at 70 MPH is nothing? List all the cars that have 460 HP that are that fuel efficient..go ahead I have time to wait.

If your main concern is MPG's, you bought the wrong vehicle. I could care less what mine gets.
I agree !!! After driving my C7 in all driving modes I settled on sport mode with the rev matching on. I'm sure this decreases my MPG but I love the way the car sounds and handles in Sports Mode. Believe it or not my wife prefers this mode too when she drives it. If you want great MPG go out and buy yourself a vehicle that gives you that. Not many out there that will give you high MPG and great performance.

Don't see anyone claiming that low avg speed is giving them high MPG, just people answering the OP. Hope your afternoon gets better.

Ok I have time for you too. List all those who's "Main concern" is millage. No one said it was their main concern. I always wonder how people reply to things that were never said.

Big deal. Nobody said it was bogus. You and everybody else things they found the holy grail in 460 hp. The C6 with 436 gets that and better at 70 mph. On a 150 mile trip at 68mph my GS got 32.7 mpg big deal, so what.

Really I had an LS3 never got that millage. So show me the proof of your great result. A picture maybe like you see here.

I did not mean to infer that the lifetime MPG comments made by the writers meant that high MPG was their main concern. I was just agreeing with another post and stating my preference in the way I drive my C7. I also said that anyone that thought they needed to get high a MPG average with their C7 should buy a vehicle that would make them happier. I drive my C7 for pleasure and if I don't get over 20 MPG I know I was out enjoying myself.
I have heard of a few people on here with C7s getting over 40 MPG on a pure highway trip and I totally believe it, as I have managed a best of 37.1 in my C6. Granted, this was with non ethanol gas (which I find gives me considerably better MPG-probably 10% more) and it was on a perfectly flat stretch of highway, for one solid hour at 60mph.
Here is the shot:
I have no doubt I could beat that number in a non Z51 C7 (because of the taller gearing) in ECO mode. Someday I will do just that and will post the pic here. I predict it would do 41 MPG.
738 miles at 70 MPH. Little short runs don't add up to that. I can show you you really high millage in short runs. The point is the C7 is far more fuel efficient then a C6.
A C2 is more advanced then a C1. C4 more advanced then a C3, A C5 is a better car then a C4, A C6 is a better car then a C5, A C7 is a better car then a C6, a C8 will be better then a C7. Stop trying to compare apples to oranges. Get over the fact that your car has been moved back a notch and enjoy it for what it is a great Corvette.
I guess I am doing it wrong. Lifetime avg of 16.5 mpg. I never even looked at my mpg until just now when I saw this post. I just drive and fill her up when she is thirsty.
Manually calculating after a 2 month break in I have driven 1952 miles with a best average of 30.89 (98% hwy), worst average of 23.53 between fill-ups and total average of 26.27 MPG. My DD before was a V6 mustang and IIRC best it got hwy was 31 with an average of 28 flat over 20k miles. 155 more horses and less than 2 MPG difference
