I have a 2015, Z51, A8, with 5100 miles on it. The car started to "pulse" when braking. The whole car "pulsed", but you could also feel it in the brake pedal also. Took it into the Chevy dealer on Tuesday. He called and said that the rear rotors were warped, and needed replacing. Parts will be in Wed AM...They then called and said that the rear rotors were replaced, but the car still had some "pulsing" issues...not completely fixed, and that front rotors will be replaced. The service rep said that these rotors are 2 piece.
My question(s)-Has anyone had this happen to them? Any ideas as to what caused it...I have never raced the car. Should I be aware of any other issues connected to this?
THANK YOU! I didnt see those posts when I looked for brake troubles. My first thought was pad deposit..but I guess not...Ill keep u posted on this as it seems to affect others....

Input is appreciated!!!!
The chevy dealer, Gainesville Chevy, replaced the rear rotors, and will replace the front ones. The problem is much better, but not completely cured. The front rotors are on "national back order", meaning Chevy shows 0 in inventory, with no time frame for their arrival.
That are also having a DM look at the pitting in my wheels.
I am pleased with what the dealer is doing so far!
