Default Optimum shift points using shift light for M7

Can someone explain how the shift lights work for me while the car is in track mode?

When you're in track mode, you see the little shift lights on the dash and the HUD. it starts off green, then yellow and then blue. I think then blue flashes... this is my understanding

green lights: you're nearing shift point
yellow lights: you're just at shift point
all blue: shift now
blue flashing: redline

is this correct?

anyone know at what RPMs these lights go on? is blue shift now at 6300, and redline (blue flashing) 6500?

what about the sports mode one? I know it glows yellow, orange and red. I'm suppose this one, you would shift just as it turns red?

and lastly, at what point do you guys upshift? when you see the blue, or orange? I noticed the blue flashes if I attempt no lift shift
