Does the 2015 have those warning mirrors that tell you a car is too close when changing lanes? Could not find it on the build program.

Only blind spot detector, in addition to setting the mirrors properly (which mine are) is by adding blind spot mirrors! Never used them on my '08, '93 or '08 Vette coupes but they are a help on the narrower rear C7 view. For a Vert needed even more!

Even with mirrors set per the old SAE tech paper, i.e. so you can't see your car even when leaning near the window, the reduced rear view in the C7 is an issue, IMO. With a small blind spot mirror both cars are visible.

That is the way to set the mirrors; this is what I have done for many years. But if you read the details in the 1995 SAE paper that introduced the concept (probably was used prior) it clearly states there are shortcomings. In addition, if you read what is posted on the right hand side of this summary pic you posted it says, “When pointed to the blind spot (fig.4) the outside mirror shows the green car as soon as it leaves the inside mirror etc.” With limited rear visibility from the inside rear view mirror it reduces the usefulness of this approach.
Never used small blind spot mirrors in my prior 3 Vettes but added them to my C7, (see my post #3)
The visibility out of the rear of a C7 is limited and they are useful IMO. In discussions with folks that have a Verts it’s even worse.
Those of us that add blind spot mirrors do so for a reason! To each his own.

There is a gap in visibility of a car passing from the rear when the view in the inside mirror is limited.

Why would GM Corvette not include this safety feature? Seems like something they could charge for! On the 2016 maybe?

Honestly, I have a 2014 Santa Fe and the C7. I can actually track other cars around me better in my C7 than the Santa Fe.

The C7, I see a car behind me in my main rear view (same lane and either right or left of my lane). As the side lane cars approach and start to vanish from my main rearview, they are picked up immediately in my side-views and remain visible until I can see actually them out side windows.

The only time there may be an issue is if I'm not checking the mirrors and someone is leaving my side-view mirror view and becoming visible through the passenger side window. If I do not physically turn my head to check that possibility, there could be an issue.

Generally, I'm always scanning mirrors so this really never comes up.

I have this feature on my Ford Flex....it ain't all that great. First, the size of the warning LED is very small...at 80 mph there is too much going on to stare at the mirror or pick it up in your peripheral vision 100% of the time. Second, dirt and ice can block the sensors making the feature useless. .. the fix would be heated sensors/bulbs. If GM enters the fray I hope they realize these shortcomings. Also, to be more noticeable the tiny bulb should be on the inside location of the mirror, not to the outside...that little bit of real estate makes a big difference at high speed when you are reluctant to take your eyes off the road...even when I know a car is next to me I don't always notice the bulb lighting up...future designs should address these issues; it's a start.

The spot mirrors have worked for me for years. Had them on the C6 and for that matter all my cars. When you get used to "reading" the small image, you can feel blind when you don't have them available - like in a rental car. They come in several shapes, my problem has been getting the right shape to fit a particular mirror.

My old car, 2013 mustang, had the best mirrors. I had ZERO blind spots and could see cars 3 lanes over, moving around, getting in the lanes around me. I never had to turn my head or look over my shoulder. It was built in, nicely shaped and looked pretty good, best car I've ever driven concerning visibility. (not my picture, and a bit improper setup)

I've had the corvette for 2 weeks and no matter how I adjust the mirrors, I do not feel comfortable. The lack of visibility is scary.

Default Lack of Chevy support on mirrors

Chevy has designed and “built in blind spot mirrors” for every vehicle BUT Vettes and that’s sad. Personally I have zero issues with the drivers side and more with the passenger side. Being in California, our on & off ramps are higher or lower than the normal street they are merged on to. The little side window doesn’t help any so I need use mirrors on the passenger side more than I’d like.
The fact that Chevy stopped installing monitoring systems is a fail! ..

The C8 will have blind spot monitoring. I wish my C7 had it.
