If you have the cash, then get a auto, it's worth it and easy to sell when you get ready. Here in California it would be hard to even find a manual due to few that want it. I have only owned one Corvette with a manual, 64 Hardtop / Convert but you would want it in the older C2's.

Um, not true and I'm guessing you haven't driven an A8 hard in sport or track mode. It doesn't ride down through each gear. Seems to me the choice of an M7 vs A8 once again, is buy what you like and I will submit to you, that those who enjoy rowing through the gears know who they are. They buy the M7. BTW I bought the A8. All good.

As I've said in one earlier thread if you're not planning on tracking you cannot go wrong with either.
