Can't have too much red . . .
The set from the previous page installed!
As mentioned elsewhere, having a trim tool handy is a good idea. Makes quick work of pulling the zip-tie holders without damaging them.
PS, you reuse the rubber grommets on the fuel rail covers:

Installed Pete's fuel rail and plenum covers today. He does amazing work. Somehow I managed to break the blue tab off of the wire harness when I reattached it. Any suggestions on how to ensure the plug stays secure?

So Pete got my all my parts shipped and they arrived Monday. I just got in from a business trip and I have to admit I've felt like a kid waiting for Christmas all week. I almost got myself in trouble with the Southern Lady because I think she thought I was more excited about the box than seeing her after a week (ummm, well I have been waiting impatiently (ok now I have to take her to an antique auction this weekend)).
I opened the box and unwrapped all the pieces carefully. Pete's packing is incredible. The gorilla from the old luggage commercial couldn't have damaged this stuff. Sturdy box well wrapped and well cushioned.
Ladies and Gentlemen, if you are thinking about Pete's work and are on the fence, you need to jump both feet off the fence and order now.
First impression was the art is art! This isn't (and the pictures wouldn't give such an impression so bear with my superlatives) the kid on the strip in Panama City that paints sunsets on t shirts. If there were a Louvre Corvette art museum these would be considered master works. The detail is astonishing. The depth of the painted fuel rails, for example, are such that it looks like the badges on the car have been adhered to the fuel rails. The finish looks as good (maybe better) than the finish on the car. Every item is slick as glass and to get the idea go run your hand over your plenum (come on, you know you want to) and then run it over the car's paint. That will give you an idea of how smooth and glass like the painted surfaces are. I also ordered Pete's polished fuel caps and I have to tell you they are all like little round mirrors. Perfect finish and not a single defect.
When I get this all installed I will post pics. Pete I'm ecstatic I found your work and I will enjoy it immensely. I wonder if I should ceramic coat it along with the rest of the car. The only downside here is with this, the only other thing to do is the hoodliner.
Showstopper is a perfect name. These are definitely showstoppers.
