No joy here.
It is a bit tricky, but in doing this, you use decimal longitude and latitude data which can be obtained from various on line sources including Google Earth. You create a text file (format is critical) and then must put car in the ignition on, engine off mode. This is done by leaving your foot off the brake and holding the start button down for about 5 seconds until the dashboard comes on.
GM doesn't know about that last part. I learned about it on this forum, after several trips and many hours at dealership and them on the phone with GM Infotainment Engineers who never did have the answer. You can get the geo coordinates for points that you have already located, but you can't just input the coordinates to get to any points. It would be great if GM issued an update that would allow this.

Thanks I tried to create a POI using their format and downloading to a flash drive but when I open the folder in the Navigation System it shows no data. I had the car in accessory mode so I will try holding the start button down until the dashboard comes on and try again. Thanks again
