I was surprised that when in reverse there is no beep when you get close to an object. I thought all vehicles with back up cameras would have this feature. Am I missing something?

curb alert on my C6 GS is not working? fuses ok, seems to keep power and I have tried to force a sound by moving objects in front of the sensor and no beeps. anyone have any ideas?

Let me get this straight. When you put it in reverse you get a nice view of everything behind your car with lines to gauge exactly how close you are and that's not enough for you? You need to have sound too?

We have three cars. All three have a back up camera. Only one has parking/reverse sensors. You can add a camera to some cars after the purchase for only a few hundred installed, but adding the sensors is a big deal if it can be done at all.

Thanks,
I had a similar issue when I had my C6. Turned out that the volume switch on the beeper speaker had been turned to off. Not sure how that happened.
You guys didn't bolt these on? I had to weld-cut them off my brothers 77 Dodge Dart and zip tied them to the front spoiler and rear bumper. They wiggle a bit, but I know when I slap a curb.
